Pastor Ronald
David West, was born on July 3, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio. He is the seventh
son born to James W West Sr. and Frances L. West. He has ten brothers and
three sisters.
He met and married
Rhonda M. Stovall on August 25, 1984. They have three sons; Jermaine,
Ricky, Randall, one daughter; Chloe and several grandchildren.
He attended
Columbus Public Schools. He received an Honorable Discharge from the
United States Army in July 1974. He received the Bachelor of Arts Degree
from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and the Master of Divinity Degree from
Master's Divinity School and Graduate School of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana.
He became an
ordained minister in August 2002. In September 2002 he became the Founder
and Senior Pastor of Walk of Faith Christian Center. He is a member and
Certified Biblical Counselor of the International Association Biblical
Counselors (IABC), a life-time member of Blacks in Government (BIG), a life-time
member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
and a member of the Fellowship of Inner City Word of Faith Ministries (FICWFM).
He is a member and
a past President of the Columbus Area Chapter of Blacks in Government. He
is the recipient of the Outstanding Young Men of America Award and Who's Who
Award. He has been employed by the United States Government for over
thirty years and is currently employed with the Department of the Treasury.
He enjoys football, baseball, basketball, swimming, track, fishing, theater,
music, reading acting and preaching and teaching the Word of God to ALL people.
